17. Sarah's Death (Genesis 23: 1 - 4)
It seems to be a no-brainer to own a property or house in the US. Many called it an American dream. God also promised Abraham the land of Canaan. Yet when Sarah died, Abraham didn't own the land that he wanted to bury Sarah. Instead, Abraham had to pay a hefty fortune for the land. So, why did it take so long for God's promise? Also, what's so special about the land that took Abraham a fortune to purchase? What could we learn about Abraham's behavior?
